NEC launches BL550/CS dual core powered netbook with HD display

NEC has launched a new Atom N550 powered netbook in Japan, which named is LaVie Light BL550/CS. The NEC LaVie Light BL550 features 1.5GHz Intel Atom N550 dual core processor, 2GB of memory, a 320GB hard drive, a 10.1 inch HD display with 1366×768 pixel resolution and runs Windows 7 Home Premium.
NEC is also luanching a new single core Atom model, which called LaVie Light BL350/CW. The NEC LaVie Light BL350 will have a 1.83GHz Intel Atom N475 CPU, 1GB RAM, a 250Gb hard drive and run Windows 7 Starter Edition OS.
Both will have 3x USB 2.0 ports, mini USB port, Ethernet, 802.11n Wi-Fi, WiMax, VGA, SDXC card slot, micrphone, headphone jacks.
The NEC LaVie Light BL550/CS is priced ¥85,000 or about $US 1010, while the NEC LaVie Light BL350/CW has cost ¥70,000 or about $US 832.
