Lenovo announces ThinkPad X220 laptop, 24 hours of battery life promised
Lenovo officially announced the new ThinkPad X220 laptop with features Intel Sandy Bridge processors, 12.5-inch, 1366 x 768 pixel displays with optional IPS display and long life battery up to 24 hours.
The ThinkPad X220 will ship standard with a 6 cell battery that provides up to 9 hours of run time, you can upgrade to a 9 cell battery for 15 hours. And it can gets up to 24 hours of run time by an external battery.
Otherwise, the 12.5-inch laptop can be configured to order, with your choice of Sandy Bridge Core i3, i5, and i7 processors, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, USB 2 or USB 3, SSDs up to 160GB and a 720p webcam.
The laptop also has 802.11n WiFi, VGA ports, display ports, SD card slots, and 54mm Express Card slots, a 720p HD webcam, and optional WiMAX and 3G modems.
The ThinkPad X220 laptop will become available in April starting at $899.
