Intel Atom N550 dual core 1.5GHz reported coming later this year

Intel plans to release Atom dual core processor for a few weeks now. Fudzilla reports, the Atom N550 processor is clocked at 1.5 GHz, 1MB total L2 cache, 2x512KB per core and two cores with four hyperthreads. The total power for this processor is just 8.5 watts, which is two watts more than single-core 1.83GHz clocked N475 and has a Intel Graphics Media acceleration 3150 based core, integrated 200MHz graphics core and memory controller.
The other day, Intel’s VP Mooly Eden said that some multitasking operating systems might need a dual core CPU, something that might be quite good for the future tablet CPU.
