Hercules will release two new 10-inch eCAFÉTM netbooks, the eCAFÉ Slim HD and the eCAFÉ EX HD, in this spring. Both of the netbooks are powered by ARM Cortex-A8 CPUs and run a Linux-based Hercules eCAFÉ Netbook Edition Operating System.

The eCAFÉTM netbooks feature a 10-inch displays with a resolution of 1024 x 600, 512 MB of RAM, 8 GB or 16GB of flash storage, and built-in webcams. Connectivity options also include an SDHC card slot, 3 USB 2.0 ports, an Ethernet port, mini-USB port, and 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi.

The eCAFÉ Slim HD offers an extremely slim just only 0.8-inch thick and weighs in at 1.9 pounds and the eCAFÉ EX HD is a bit larger at 1.1-inch thick and 2.5 pounds.

The eCAFÉ Slim HD and eCAFÉ EX HD will be available starting April 2011, at suggested retail prices of $229 and $269.
